I'm leaving Today... [spoiler alert for twilight series]

I'm leaving for St. Thomas TODAY and I'm only a little excited. It's gonna be fun, but it's also going to be way more complicated than our amazing Jersey Shore vacations. THEY ARE DA BOMB so you can't say anything about Jersey Shore because that's a TV SHOW and one that I've never seen so obviously it doesn't matter. Anyway, it's gonna be a complicated vacation because we're meeting our first cousins. Yes, meeting. As in, for the first time. And I don't know how we are going to fit them into our big party- see our like, step-first cousins (who we are actually close to)are usually the only ones who come with us other than our commutative grandparents, but now there will be people that I've never MET before. Kinda a scary thought. So yeah, I'm looking forward to it but I expect to do a lot of reading because a)there isn't any girls my age, which hasn't bothered me before but b) I could be getting tired of doing things like building sand pools. You don't know until you depend on it, so I'm bringing a lot of books.

Speaking of books, I've gotten into a really horrid habit. So I don't read a book a day. I read TWO HALVES of a book a day. This means one half from 9 to 12 and the other from 12 to... 4. Ugh. It's horrible. I'm feeling kinda sick now and it's because I'm no longer able to fall asleep without finishing a book (i managed last night, but it was still 2 when I stopped and I didn't fall asleep until 3) and I'm re reading the Twilight series so they are all very long and definitely shouldn't be finished in one night.

So the Twilight series. I wanna know what you think of it. I seem to be the only sane one who just thinks of it as a BOOK. Everyone seems to be either strongly opposed to it or IN LOVE WITH JACOB/EDWARD. Ugh. Ummmm yeah I just think of it as another book. It didn't stand out as something to worship to me. I do like it though. Except for the second one. Okay. So I'll give you my one sentence summary of all of them except the fourth because I'm not done with that yet. I'll give the summary of it so far.

Book 1= Wow, Vampires are really amazing.

Book 2= While it is really depressing that the vampire left, Bell a can always run to her werewolf best friend.

Book 3= Life is good again, but, hmm, is it a problem that Bella is still getting chased by a revenge seeking vampire? No, actually, it's all good, as long as Edward is back.

Book 4= Wow, Bella's really really annoying, I've never noticed it before- I guess it takes looking at it from Jacobs point of view: She got herself pregnant with a thing that's trying to kill her and now no one is on his side anymore because it loves her. It's pretty obviously still gonna kill her, no matter how much it loves her.

Two of those where more than one sentence, but you'll get over it.

AND THIS IS MY amazing review of the New Moon book. SARCASTIC SUMMARYYYYYYYYY's are amazing!

Oh Edward! You're gone! Jacob! Will you be my best friend? Please? Oh! And you're a werewolf? Cool! But not nearly as sexy as Edward. And I'll ignore your devotion to me! I will! You don't have to worry because I'm to depressed to change anything, except now I'm a little suicidal and RISK IS AMAZING. do you hear the voices...

OMG! Edward is in Italy! ROMANTIC DESTINATION, LET'S GO! Wait, what? I didn't kill my self? Oh, HE'S going to kill himself? This is SO romeo and Juliette! I'm not dead, silly! You are! But you'll... end your existence? For me? That's so romantic, ohmigod, but I can't let you sweetie. I need to go save him Jacob, maybe I'll talk to you later, kay? And, ugh, if only I were immortal like Edward! That's totally my most important issue right now.

Oh yeah. Did you like it? Don't let this one book discourage you from reading the series- you can skip a few chapters, it doesn't matter. Ugh I hate that one. It's so sexist. She's in love with him and then he leaves- i mean it's reasonable to still be in love with him but she's just... annoying.... and she's really rude to Jacob toward the end there.

But surprisingly, I was still totally with Edward for that entire one. Even after he broke her heart, I was completely and totally on Team Edward (except not actually, just if I was obsessed I liked him better than Jacob.)

But then I read the third one again, and I SORTA changed my mind. To many forever's and always's it was so annoying. They were both really hurt that they had done that to each other but they couldn't just get over it. Yeah, he ruined their lives for half a year. Don't dwell on it excessively. And Bella wouldn't let the blame fall on anyone else- it was her fault. It was kinda pathetic really- I agree with Edward at the end that the thing that would've hurt the most is how fast she believed that he hated her. No self confidence, this girl.
This is shown in the last one when she is dying to carry this baby that is honestly killing her. Every day, new ribs are broken and whatever. And she doesn't admit to the pain! She's just trying to make everyone else happy. That was kinda when I started thinking Jacob was cooler because of a multitude of reasons.

1. He was a werewolf. Which I'm not as used to as a vampire.
2. I keep picturing that actor who plays Edward in the movie (though I haven't seen the movies, I've seen pictures) and he's so FREAKING UGLY that Jacob must be better.
3. His chapter titles are amazing. For instance, for chapter 17: 17. What Do I Look Like? The Wizard of Oz? You Need a Brain? You Need a Heart? Go Ahead. Take Mine. Take Everything I Have. -That sorta makes me hate Bella a little more. Ugh- just read them to understand.
4. Pack minds are so awesome and the conflict he is going through with being pack leader/not is much more interesting than Bella continuously about to get killed by a vampire and Edward being over protective.
5. He's so NICE. I swear, he never says anything to hurt Bella even when she TOTALLY deserves it.

um I don't think there are anymore. And I of COURSE don't think Bella should go with Jacob NOW because she's married and about to become a bloodsucker but I think it would've worked out a little better. I pity Edward for this whole thing. The rest of the book gets a little less Bella complainy, don't worry, this is only in the first quarter. Once she has the baby and is a vampire (hey, i gave you a spoiler alert. Don't be so surprised that they both survived) things get much more exciting. HAHA I won't tell you what's happening because I'm RE-READING, which for me involves pretending not to know what's gonna happen.
Which gets annoying when I actually DON'T remember what's gonna happen and then it hits me and the whole book is ruined because I'm no longer curious, because I know the ending and I didn't in the beginning. I'm referring to a different book, not Twilight. Just another thing that happens when you read a lot, you forget what you DID read and then get really disappointed when you check something out from the library, start reading, and remember you've read it before and the whole story is ruined for you now. It's better to have a good memory. Always.

This was a long post- I need to add it to my tally that I have going on for my 100 POST CELEBRATION POST! Be prepared, only what, 3 more left!!! Thanks for listening to me moan about Twilight- really, I'm not obsessed with it, I'm just immersed in the story right now. Again, re-reading. You guys should all read it too, if you haven't already. It's actually pretty good, despite everyone thinking it is. (I heard that quote first used with Shakespeare: The remarkable thing about Shakespeare is he actually is pretty good, despite all the people who think so.) Except for the second one, all of them are really really good stories, if Bella is a little too whiny. And as for the problem with the second one, you can just skip a few chapters in the middle. It doesn't matter until the end when they go to Italy. Then it's okay. Just read a few chapters in the beginning, a few in the middle to see how good Jacob is, and then from when she decides to jump off a cliff onward. That's all you need- unless you miss Jacob becoming a werewolf, that's pretty important to. But it's actually interesting so just ignore Bella's reaction to that. Just ignore her the entire book actually. Like i said, skip to the end. Thank you. You'll thank me later. But the rest of the series is amazing! Don't worry! It's actually pretty good! I'm just being sarcastic about all of the other ones because I can't stand it that it's actually good despite many people thinking it is. So read it. I only recommend good books... and I have good recommendations, promise.

EDIT: This post is 1617 words long. This is amazing. Is it? I think it is. Almost 2 thousand words! That's CRAZY! Sorry for how long it is.

St. Thomas

And it actually looks like that too....

Saturday, June 26, 2010

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. (happy sigh)

Last night was amazing.
HA.
HA.
HA.
HA.
*brie laughs*
*adri laughs*

ahem.

Last night was our end of school year party. It's like the biggest party of the year. BIGGEST PARTY OF THE YEAR! And I'm not kidding, try and find a party bigger than this.
There were 150 people there. Pretty much. like 130 people were invited, but whatever.

People show up. Which is weird. Like when Aaron Simmons appeared in the driveway....
and I went up to him, oh-so-politely and everything, and said

"Um, what are you doing here?"

pause.

"I mean, not to be RUDE or anything, but WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?"

Will and Anna were kinda snickering. Anna's like: "I TOLD you." and he's like "Shut up" and i guess he eventually left.

Thank you.

So Adri was left feeling mad at Elora and Will and Zack (Zach?) for looking through her purse which was in my room. Don't ask. Ha. So, ummmmm, we were singing our remakes of songs like "Don't Stop Believing" aka "Students Sleeping" because Viktor and Kyle and Jakob, etc, were singing the REAL (wait, no, not real, Glee) version and we needed to show them that we are TOTALLY more creative than them, which was proved once again when we started.... copying them..... yeah... they were making... ahem.... a human pyramid/like slingshot ish thing. We attempted to do the same claiming we were better cheerleaders than them but we failed. WHATEVER. haha.
We had a lot of fun, running around and being ninja in my house and making... um... whats it called... Cranginepsyale Lime i think. that was actually okay. Interesting. Someone post the recipe in the comments.

Hmmmmm after Brie and Jessie left.... they were gone. It was devastating. I BETTER SEE YOU GUYS SOON!!! And then Ally and Sarah and then Anna and then Maggie and I was pretty lonely UNTIL I started following Michaela, Kyle, Viktor, and Jakob around and that WAS FUN. We ended up by the fire and we cooked like one marshmallow and then Michaela got cold (even though she was the only one NOT wearing shorts and a t-shirt. how does that work) anyway, she got cold and decided that she WASN'T going to dance directly on top of the flames like Viktor and Jakob were, so she just stuck her feet out and told Kyle to lean against them because apparently he was very warm. From this ensued a discussion about the lengths Max would go to beat Kyle up and we decided that though he might punch him but it would be useless because KYLE FEELS NO PAIN. NONE. I SWEAR YOU SHOULD TRY TO HURT HIM SOMETIME. He came to the party with NO SHOES. Like, why? BECAUSE HE DOESN'T FEEL PAIN. So we also decided a lot of other things that Max WOULDN'T do for her, but they are a little explicit and so I won't post them. If you really care to know, refer to our imaginary country's national motto.

So there were three beach chairs- Michaela on one, I on the one right next to that one, and Kyle on one directly in front of Michaela. Michaela's feet were on Kyle's lap (we were discussing whether or not Max would come running if he heard)anyway her feet were in Kyle's lap and Viktor was sitting in Kyle's lap. But no, Viktor was NOT sitting on Michaela's feet. My feet were on Viktor's knees and you know how Kyle was right in front of Michaela? Right, so their chairs were on this obtuse angle and Jakob was leaning against that.

So lemme repeat: To stay warm, Viktor was sitting on Kyle's lap and my feet were in Viktor's lap and Michaela's feet were in Kyle's lap and Kyle's feet were Michaela's pillow and Viktor's feet were on a random other chair like thing. We had a bunch of blankets and I swear we could've fallen asleep if we would've ever stopped laughing about our "that's what she said"'s and how people take sick jokes and how it depends on their sick mind to make is sick. And also the thing's that everyone THINKS was their idea but really it was everyone's. Like using the pool noodles as guns and putting chocolate inside the marshmallow and whatever. It was so much fun. We were like that until like 1:30, trying to find the most comfortable position where we were all warm and touching but yet could feel our legs and weren't dying from the uncomfortable chairs. Haha.

And then everyone left and Elora was on a plane for San Fran. and Viktor was on a plane to Czech where he goes to SUMMER CAMP. SUMMER CAMP IN A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE. That's CRAZY AWESOME. Wow. And Elora in San Fransisco... it's very cool how people thought that the party was important enough to risk depending on sleeping on plane. That is very devoted of them.

AND YOU OTHER PEOPLE- There are so many people I wish I could just have said "Oh just show up. I live here, and it's at 6." Really. Next year, you are all going on my list. Especially the people I thought were already on my list, like Sarah Nixon and Sophia. It's like they disappeared from the spreadsheet! And of course all the people I have made friends with in the past week, like Owen and Meghan and Jacob. I feel REALLY bad not inviting you all. Ugh. Well with 130 people in the yard, my mom was right to make me lower the list. But NEXT YEAR, I SWEAR YOU WILL ALL BE THERE. And I'm still feeling really bad that not all of my friends could've come/ could've been invited. Ugh. But it was fun anyway. It would've been more fun if i could've gotten more people, but whatever.

It left me unbelievably happy. :)

:D

Ramblings on Idea's for the Play- Yolanda, Yasmin... Another???

Yolanda and Yasmin. Does there need to be a third? Me, Anna, Elora? Interesting…
So are any of them (either of them?) evil? Or all just like Yolanda in the real story? That makes the most sense, but it’s kinda much if all three of them be her servant and all three of them fall in love with the prince’s assistant.
OH, yeah, they all should fall in love with him in an obsessive stalker sorta way. Hmmm. So the 13th prince comes and Fiona kills-ish him and then ALL the Yasmins try to assist the assistant to save him.
Do they know the others are helping?
That can be the subplot, though the beginning part where she kills-ish the thirteen dudes wold have to go by really fast. After scene one , in scene two… some other back story has to happen. The witch meeting Yasmin/yolanda/unnamed and them being suspicious? Where the market? Are they wandering the castle? All of them together? Yolanda and Yasmin together and Unnamed the witch? “you look really familiar…”

But we need a little more silly! It is a children’s play…
Silly… what’s silly….
1) Um the witch could be like an animal ,so Fiona is like taking orders/advice, lessons from a like, pig or something
2) Blind date set up- interview, etc trick him to touch necklace
3) Actually, the necklace thing is a little hard to choreograph. How about more of a golden goose thing, instead of disappearing, they get stuck to it. BUT since it’s very hard to walk around with 13 men attached to your necklace, how about she makes them STUCK to the TABLES where they had the interview.

So like-

1 2 3 4 5
Numbers= prince sitting at tables

And the princess goes from table to table freezing as she goes? Unnamed could be like a suck up and help her, though does she understand that it’s magic? She would be stupid to not. But what about that first scene? Where should I add her in? with Yolanda and Yasmin?
What dose she say when they diss her idol?
Go back to first scene, fast forward.

Fiona exits
Unnamed: yeah guys, really.
Unnamed exits
Yolanda: that doesn’t even make sense, why would she bother following her?
Yasmin: or thinking that being ordered to do the laundry didn’t apply to her.
Yolanda: it doesn’t apply to us either. It’s not our job. And we aren’t slaves. so no.
Yasmin:I wasn’t planning on doing it either.
[exit both]

Does that work?

A Combination

I just frosted cupcakes! I was taking pictures of them with my dad's iPhone (aka my camera) and I said "Look, aren't they gorgeous! I frosted them!" and he laughed. The word frosted, he said, wasn't normally used as a verb in the past tense. You can say "i am frosting cupcakes" or even "the cupcakes are frosted" but somehow "I frosted them" sounds weird, even though it is right. huh.

Aren't they pretty!!!

These two are my favorites.

and these two are epic fails. see the cake coming through the frosting? ick.

PART TWO:
frosting cupcakes are just another thing on that list of things that children cant do nearly as good as their mothers.

so far the list is very short but it's SO true.

1. Painting nails. How come your Mom can always paint your nails PERFECTLY but when you do it it doesn't look elegant AT ALL.
2. Same with frosting cupcakes. Mom's are SO GOOD AT IT. It's like they have this skill with the swirling of the knife!
3. And of course, wrapping presents. I mean, I'm pretty decent at it but still, her's are always PERFECT and she knows exactly where to cut the paper and everything.
4. there is more but i can't think of them at the moment.

This is an extremely complimentary post, Mommy. I hope it makes up for the hate that we will be forced to have for each other at some point. :)

NOTICE HOW I combined these two things, the list and the pictures? That's because I'm stalling for time to work on my 100th Post Celebration Post post. IT'S GONNA BE LIKE SOOO EXTREEMMMEEEEEE. I'm working on it like all the time. And I have like 9 more until it's time!!!!

89th? Post/ Yearbook

I'm really confused as to what post number this is. Because on the archives, it's post 89, but on my dashboard it's like 94. I think that must be the posts I've deleted? Right? So, for my 100th post CELEBRATION, I will go with what the archives say because that is what you guys all read. All the other posts were mess ups and whatever.
So that's resolved.

Now I'm going to show you all my teacher Yearbook signatures!

I'm happy to start your teacher page! Olivia-- what a treat it was to have you in homebase-- Have a sunny and happy summer! AVolckmar

I loved being in your homebase!!! YUMMYYYY FOOODDD!!!!!

Olivia, It's been wonderful teaching you this year. I wish I could keep you here- especially for Shakespeare! -Ms. Cernera

Thank you Ms. Cernera :) Well I'll be in the plays next year, so you won't miss me too much.

Liebe Oivia, Danke, dass du in unserer Klasse warst. Du bist spitze! Frau O'Dell

Hmm... I wonder who this was... Now whats really sad is that I only KINDA understand this. I think it says something like:

Dear Olivia, Thank you for being in my class. You are great! Ms. O'Dell

I think. It's something like that.

Olivia, Don't forget the garden, Fossil finders, Microscope Beasts and of course the evolution of life on earth. But if you do forget, that's ok. You'll do it again in 9th grade. Cheers, Mr. Gottleib

AND THEN HE DREW THIS REALLY AWESOME PICTURE OF ONE OF THOSE FISHES AND IT'S SAYING "HAGS" WHICH I JUST RECENTLY FOUND OUT MEANT "HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!"

Four score and a few months ago... we started our 7th grade Social Studies. It has been a pleasure to be your teacher. See you next year. Eric Pritz

Silly, that's not how it goes! it's "four score and SEVEN YEARS ago..." DUHHH. Haha... Thanks Mr. Pritz for your awesome Social Studies classes and those great days where we just looked at the pictures and those other days where we just discussed quotes. I love discussing quotes. :)

Olivia- Wow! What a year! Crazy, insane. Oh well! Actually, the year is fairly consistent with all other years. TSA will be the same insanity pace. Have a great summer. Mr. Buchner

Well thanks for the warning. Now I'm totally looking forward to joining TSA now that I know how insane it is. Haha. I love insanity!!

You were delightful to have in class and I shall continue to follow your adventures via your fabulous blog! See you next year! -Ms. L.M.

HI MS. LORY-MORAN!!!!!!!! I didn't know you read my blog! I loved your math class, by the way. I'm sure you could tell from my... laughing..... yeah.... I learned a lot though! Don't worry! And I will never be one of those girls who say that "I'm a girl and girly and I'm so stupid" or whatever it was you said today. You were REALLY good at that. hahaaaa. :)

I LOVE YOU ALL MISS YOU SEE YOU LATER NEXT YEAR IN 8TH GRADE AND STUFF.

Just A Bunch of Shirtless Boyscouts

I got to the community center at 3. Yeah, that's right, 3. 2 hours before the thing even started. The only people there were the boyscouts and some girlscouts, who were camping there, and my dads friends, who had already started the chickens and were standing in the smoke drinking beer- which was what their MORNING consisted of.

The fire truck was there and it was spraying kids with water, which was pretty cool, but as prissy as it may sound, I didnt want to get wet. I also didn't want to go too near the chicken BBQ pit thing, because of the smoke. This was for an even more prisssy reason- I had just taken a shower and didn't want to make my hair smell like campfire.

Soon after, at around 3:10, the boyscouts started to set up the tents and Emma and I made lemonade and ice tea. The ice was by the pit in a cooler that was once full of beer- but between the 8 of them it was almost empty, save for a bottle of wine from austria from my dad's visiting friends, Tulai and Dukes. They were out looking for apartments downtown, but I think were planning on coming later when they finished looking at the 9 apartments on their list.
It started raining at 3:46, a light drizzle that I hardly felt because I was sitting in the car. I got out once I realized it was raining and went to ask if my mom cared that the car windows were open for the rain. She did, and went to close them. It stopped raining 15 minutes later, and I went to get another card table for the iced tea, because one table couldn't carry 15 gallons of liquid. I moved the lemonade up to the table and it spilled all over me. My shirt was wet and sticky. I decided to walk home and change, and to come back at 5 when dinner started.

I took some pics, I'll edit them on later.

Quotes (hey, everyone else is doing it)

Everyone has quote books now! EVERYONE! So.... I decided to make one of my own.... ON BLOGGER because this is my life:

_something really cool happens_
me: wow.
me: hmm... what would that post be called? or should it be a page. I don't know about those pages, posts are way cooler but pages are like a list. but this isn't a list. speaking of lists and pages, I need to post that list of Vivien quotes. Should it be a page? I don't know about pages.....

yeah.....
but really, the minute something happens in my life I just think "I need to put that on my blog." Except I usually forget. BUT NOT THIS TIME!

So....

first the list of Vivien quotes:

"My god! One plop won't get you like ANY dumplings!"
"Ow! My abdomen!" this one makes me laugh just TYPING it. i don't know why. and then when we questioned her on her use of the word "abdomen," she said,
"It's SUCH a valid word!"
ha. ha. ha. Vivien. yes. i quote you all the time. does that make you feel special?

And I said during math class as well,
me: "can you buy dumplings with dumplings?"
Sophie: "I think that's called bartering."

That was just the right thing said at the right time. I think I'm gonna make a list of just that, not just funny things. This will be a PAGE, not a post. yes. it will.

"I have friends!" -Thomas, defensively.
Amy: "In low places..."

another right thing said at the right time.

There is the famous:
"It's France, everyone's naked!"
by Malama. I don't know if Malama quotes count anymore, they are kinda over used. But they are SO funny. I will gladly give him the awkward award. He deserves it. I think that's a compliment... i guess....
and Malama's EVEN MORE FAMOUS at least within the Drama club, "I'm pro-bosom!""But not pro-turkey cock."
If you don't get it, then good for you.

Toby is known for saying his signature, "Nobody likes you!" If you ever try talking in his presence. which can get annoying, so just don't bother talking.

kyle: "no, height doesn't matter. Length does."
sure it does, kyle, sure it does. woowww.

haha.

oh and in German, Frau O'Dell said something. um. what was it. uh. uh.
right.
Frau O'Dell: "Nothing is worse than a bunch of obsessed little girls."
Jana: Except for obsessed little boys."

hahahaaaa.

except I think that girl's are worse at being obsessed than boys. NOT THAT I WOULD KNOW! ha.

Did I miss any of them that I said I would put up here? Comment them on and I will edit it. And of course, the-right-things-said-at-the-right-time. I have so many of those! But I hardly remember any of them. Does anyone remember for me?

Hey, OWEN, are you enjoying the irregular capitalization? hahaha bad grammarrrrrrrrrr just another thing that makes you mad. Which is therefore a good thing. mwaha. though there isn't (or shouldn't) be any spelling mistakes. Because I actually care about spelling because I can't spell. So it matters. But with like, grammar, it's different, because I COULD use it if I wanted to. So it's okay when I dont. yep. Like I just didn't put an apostrophe in that "don't." But I DID just spell check to see if "apostrophe" was spelled right. because I care. haha i love how I capitalized "I" in that last sentence but not the first word. and how I capitalized "I" once and not the other time. IRREGULAR.

So yeah, did I miss any good quotes?

My Subconscious, the Secret Keeper

I realized something.

The only drama I've ever had I've kept to myself.

No one knows my secrets...

I wasted tons of giggling on other people. (not that other people aren't worth giggling for, it's just it hasn't accomplished anything.)

I repeat: the only drama I have no one even knows about, much less cares about it's outcome.

I've done a lot of giggling this year. I wish more of it was for my benefit.

No one knows my secrets...

Or they do and think it's a joke; they don't take it seriously. How did they find out at all? I'm a pretty good secret keeper if I remember not to talk.

They only know because my subconscious is a horrible secret keeper. It talks.
Because it knows that I want someone to know.

I realized something.

This is an awkward situation.

Something that I waste a wish on every night a 11:11- no one even knows that it exists.

The only stories and thoughts I have.... unknown.

Who's fault is that?

Mine, for acting like I don't care.

Which isn't working out because now I care more than before. Which isn't convenient because now the moment passed.

That's what I wanna go back to...

That's what I wish I would've done....

That's what could've happened.

It could've happened....... I swear.....

Hey I'm not even kidding. I just ruined it.

The double gilt of this opportunity you let time wash off, and you are now sail’d into the north of my lady’s opinion, where you will hang like an icicle on a Dutchman’s beard.....

Shakespeare has a line for everything.

Before we get too off track- ask yourself. Really. Who knows Olivia's secrets? Who is her best friend? What do you even know about her? Does she ever share anything important about herself? It it obvious she has a problem with... Trust? With telling people anything deeper than the weather?
If you have any of the answers please email me.

I would love to know.

Why do I continuously depress myself?I could make myself feel better by not writing mysterious blog posts about it. But this is just adding to the problem mentioned in paragraph/stanza 16. It gets more intense if you keep it to yourself.

I'm sorry for maybe depressing you as well as refreshing my own depressement.

Sarah, Maddie, Michaela. You are the only ones who begin to know. (More than the people mentioned it paragraph/stanza 8.) and you couldn't, wouldn't, (shouldn't) do anything about it.

Oh I just realized the last paragraph sounds a bit secret agent of me. I just am kinda worried I'm gonna have all these trust issues when I'm older. I have never had a friend whom I told important things.

And no, I won't tell you, reader. I seem to have a problem with that whole... Telling part of secret exchange.

As you can see.

Which is more than a little hypocritical of me; talking about how I want secret keepers all the while knowing I would never be able to say anything aloud.

Hypocrite.

Though I do try.

It's just a problem for me.

As you can see.

THE MOMENT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!

THE HUNDRETH POST CELEBRATION POST!!!!!!!!

I started writing this post awhile ago, on the 10th.
So it is a LONG post. Just keep reading, just keep reading, what do we do we read, read.

Okay back on topic....

IT'S MY HUNDRETH POST!!! And it's only been like three-ish months! This means that there were some days that I posted more than once. My mom says this is obnoxious of me, but it is my job to agree to disagree with her.

I can't believe that I have written 100 posts. So exciting! I wonder how many, like, mattered. Like with words and stuff. Not like the contests ones and whatever.

HEY! I can check!

About thirtyish were unnecessary. Ugh. Ally, it was all your contests fault. And my stupid need to beg for comments. On my THIRD post? No one even read it then! Why would I even expect comments? I was so stupid... Back in April...

So I have had 70 worthwhile posts. that's exciting. And you guys who started following me early on- I love you all. I couldn't tell you WHO you are, but I love you. Not the early followers like Viktor, however, who I forced to follow and never actually read it. But it's okay because if the people like you weren't following then I would only have like ten followers. Which wouldn't make me nearly as happy.

Next up on my list of what I need to talk about here is how many words I have. Owen did this when he got what, 48 posts? He had 16,196 (I will round to 16000 words) at 48 posts (I'll round to 50). So that fraction is 16000/50. That is 320 words per post. So what I need to find is if the ratio/ fraction is the same or close so I can see how much I write.
I have words too.
I... ahem... have 23377 words. Round to 25000. 100 posts. So that's 250 per post. UGHHH I didn't beat him. Well whatever. It's okay. That's still a lot of words, right? Totally. Totally. 25000. Hmm. How many pages is that. I wonder...

part two

Now for the real party

before I start this party, I would like to say that I don't know any other way to make the font bigger. What I did here was HTML, so it's like HTML, words then the ending thing, /HTML. Is there a faster way? and I don't even know if his works. HOW DO YOU DO IT!???!

Happy Birthday to you...
And many moreeee

oooh maybe I'll have a 200 post celebration! Wait no, I don't like that number. 250th post. Yes. That will be exciting. But now we are focused on 100.

100 is the number between 99 and 101. It's value is 100. It's place on the timeline is 100. It is the first whole number with three digits. Do not bother correcting me on these things even if I am wrong, because it's my hundredth post and I can say what I want.

100th posts are epic. So are the people who write them. So I am epic. adoring followers/subjects, you all strive to be as epic as me. STRIVE. To be as epic as me. It is an almost impossible task but it is worth it. Wow it's fun to write this. And again, if you find it rude how I am telling you to strive to be as cool as me, I repeat: this is MY celebration. MINE! Therefore I am awesome.

What would really be awesome would be if you all have 100th post parties. All you have to do is post 100 posts! Which is actually pretty easy I did it in a few months.

Now we shall commence with dancing.

LA La LAAA LALALA LaAAaAAaaaa daaa DAaAaAaAAAa fa la la la laaa da da kaa laaaaaaaaaa

Aren't I a great singer? And dancer too. If you couldn't tell (silly people for not seeing through the computer screen) I was dancing with all of you guys. We were at a school dance but it was better. It was very exciting. I'm so glad you were all there.

Now I will get presents! Who got my blog a present? Comment it on!!! If 5 of you give my blog an imaginary gift I'll eat cake! Edit: WE'LL eat cake!! Imaginary cake, of course.

Oh my god this is STILL the hundredth post. What else do people do at parties? We already ate cake. Um. And presents. And dancing. Ans we sung happy birthday even though it's more if an anniversary, wouldn't you think? Yeah. Hm what should we do... Oh truth or dare! No actually I hate truth or dare never mind. Ummmm ummmmm oh come on I don't want this party to end I said it would go on for a long time and this isn't that big yet.

We could watch a movie? But that's not very exciting. Uhhhh I really don't know what to do.

So I've decided that although Owen is so much more amazing for making his posts double the length, It's okay because I've done double the amount. So it's all good. Yes. And that is what I learned from those amazing pictures. Did you enjoy the pictures? I decided it was better than a movie.

I think I'm going to end the post now. I hope you enjoyed my celebration and DON'T FORGET TO GIVE ME A PRESENT! Comment it on!! Love ya!!! And you all better get to one hundred also!

Pages

I have two new pages, one is "Questions I Run Into" and the other is "CLOUTS."

the whole "Pages" concept is posing a problem for me. A new page or an edit of a page won't show up on anyones dashboard, not to mention you can't comment.

But I can solve the first problem, sorta.

My plan is to, whenever I edit something worth looking at on a page, put a little asterik in the title. I dunno. I'll leave that there for a few days... Until I feel like taking it down so you see that nothing is new.

I know the simpler solution is to just make a new post for every edit, but that could get annoying for you and for me so I think this is better.

The only major problem with this solution is I don't know if you would come here to check in the first place. Well I guess that's your problem not mine.

Do you guys have better ideas for how to do this? Or comments on the new pages? Do you think I should keep them going or just not bother, post them as just a post an get on with it? Or do you like them? Tell me!

Open Mic

I'm not sure what I want to read for Open Mic this quarter, but I decided it would be something good unlike the last times. So these are too fictional (I guess you would call them vignettes? SOPHIA? You are the expert here) that I wrote in this writing class at the library. If you were one of my early early followers you might've seen these before, so just help me decide, but if you haven't seen either of these you can do two things! Help me choose which to read AND tell me what you like about them. It's really hard to choose. I really like how "The Mood of a Room" isn't first person, but it might be a little too sad. I really like in "I Still Have Everything You Game Me" how it's this huge metaphor and it takes awhile to, i don't know, get. Help me choose! And please, tell me if I would sound, like, suicidal if i read the first one.

The Mood Of A Room
It is only 8 o'clock. No one has yet arrived, there is only a Woman standing against a wall. The room feels empty, which is reasonable, because it is, but the emptiness feels deeper than just lacking of people. There is no spirit here, in a room full of black silk decorations and black silk memories.
People are beginning to stroll in, looks of sadness or looks of pretend sadness on their faces. Already the mood in the room is hurried. Everyone is honored to be there, of course, but now they can't wait to leave.
The emptiness is getting deeper. The Woman is still standing against the wall, the black of her dress contrasting with the deep cream of the wallpaper.
The emptiness is starting to swallow up the room. Everyone is silent. Waiting for the Woman to say something, but she is still standing against the wall.
Nobody goes up to comfort her.
People start to whisper, and the whispers gradually increase into a talk and a roar once the people realize that the Woman isn't going to say anything.
The fake sad faces are replaced with faces of laughter, and the actually sad faces soon follow.
The Woman darts out of the room. She can't take the room any longer, but the hallways aren't really much better. The echoes of happy people are going to follow her through the wooden door.
They should be sad! Why aren't they sad? This is what she will always be thinking. Not just here, but everywhere in her life; people will always be in a different place then her.
The party goes on, and the death and the emptiness of the room has disappeared along with the only person who is still holding on to it. The chatter is now happy and light, and there is no reason to be sad. What were we here for? I don't remember anymore. The reason never mattered, anyway, it was just an excuse to come together.
The reason never mattered, anyway.

Except to the Woman.

Okay, so that was "The Mood Of A Room." Please give opinions about the piece in general in addition to how it compares to this next one:

I Still Have Everything You Gave Me

The closet- full of the stuff I didn't want to get rid of. Too lazy to, I guess. It's full of junk in there, it's only junk.

Junk piked on top of each other in a mess of colors and textures. Cleaning it out would mean sorting through everything. No, it would mean more than that, I would have to throw things out also. And to do that I would have to bring a garbage can up here- no, a garbage TRUCK.

I still have everything you gave me. How long have I held on to it all? I don't know, really. Too long.

It's too much stuff, everything you gave me.

And when it is combined with all the other worthless gifts I've gotten, do you think the pile shrinks?

Yeah, no, it grows. Multiplies. Exponentially. The more stuff you have, the less you give away. You know what that graph would look? It would go from a horizontal line to a vertical one in an inch. Zero to sixty in a few seconds. All the space in my closet, wasted. Do you know what I could've put in there? Anything. That closet had potential. You ruined it, leaving me boxes of junk. You filled it to the brim so now nothing new and good could sneak in. It's full now, never to hold a fancy dress or even a bathrobe.

But I still have it, I still have everything you gave me.

It's too much.

It's too much stuff.

Thanks guys. Now comment and help decide which to read. Everything you say matters! And also, what do you think the second one, I Still Have Everything You Gave Me, is a metaphor for? And you people who already know because you commented on the last one, don't say anything on that topic.

Opening Lines Of Books

ABANDON ALL HOPE YE WHO ENTER HERE is scrawled in blood red lettering on the side of the Chemical Bank near the corner of Eleventh and First and is in print large enough to be seen from the backseat of the cab as it lurches forward in the traffic leaving Wall Street and just as Timothy Price notices the words a bus pulls up, the advertisement for Les Miserables on its side blocking his view, but Price who is with Pierce & Pierce and twenty-six doesn't seem to care because he tells the driver he will give him five dollars to turn up the radio, "Be My Baby" on WYNN, and the driver, black, not American, does so.
-American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis

Who is John Galt?
-Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.

This one isn't the best QUOTE, but look at the title of the book. Then think. Keep thinking. Yep. Chuckle. What would happen if Atlas shrugged? The sky would fall down! It's like a cliche without it being a cliche! Genius!
If you were going to give a gold medal to the least delightful person on Earth, you would have to give that medal to a person named Carmelita Spats, and if you didn’t give it to her, Carmelita Spats was the sort of person who would snatch it from your hands anyway.
-The Austere Academy by Lemony Snicket

If you really want to hear about it, the first thing you'll probably want to know is where I was born, and what my lousy childhood was like, and how my parents were occupied and all before they had me, and all that David Copperfield kind of crap, but I don't feel like going into it, if you want to know the truth.
-The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger

When a day that you happen to know is Wednesday starts off by sounding like Sunday, there is something seriously wrong somewhere.
-The Day of the Triffids, by John Wyndham

If youth, throughout all history, had had a champion to stand up for it; to show a doubting world that a child can think; and, possibly, do it practically; you wouldn’t constantly run across folks today who claim that “a child don’t know anything.” A child’s brain starts functioning at birth; and has, amongst its many infant convolutions, thousands of dormant atoms, into which God has put a mystic possibility for noticing an adult’s act, and figuring out its purport.

-In Search Of Lost Time by Marcel Proust.

That one seems normal, but it's like a 6 word story really. Like, why? there are so many reasons to not stay up late.

The regular early morning yell of horror was the sound of Arthur Dent waking up and suddenly remembering where he was.

-Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.

Intelligent life on a planet comes of age when it first works out the reason for its own existence. If superior creatures from space ever visit earth, the first question they will ask, in order to assess the level of our civilization, is: "Have they discovered evolution yet?"

I heard the mailman approach my office door, half an hour earlier than usual. He didn't sound right. His footsteps fell more heavily, jauntily, and he whistled. A new guy. He whistled his way to my office door, then fell silent for a moment. Then he laughed.
-Storm Front by Jim Butcher

I didn't get that until i started wondering, "What was in the mail, then. Or was it something about the door itself?" Is that what you thought of?

5-1=4

5-1=4. Good thing, right? But where does that “take away one” go anyway?

I know where it goes. And unlike what math teachers might tell you, all the negatives don’t join up to have a nice little negative party. No, they are all alone.

Until, apparently, the end of the year.

I will sitting alone every other day at lunch. Every other day. Alone.

Sometimes I hate my friends.

No offense. Well kinda offense. Hey, aren’t we friends, you guys??? How about we take turns sitting alone? Rotate out? Or maybe even sit 3 and 2?
Is that too… complicated for you? Oh I’m sorry I don’t really care.

Sure you don’t care, Olivia, you just keep telling yourself that.

Why am I the one cut out?

I HATE THIS. It redefines the cracks. The lines.

The lines suck. And the worst thing is, I know some of these people might normally want to do something about it, but don’t want to be seen doing nice things in front of their “friends/” influence-ers because it’s bad for a girl’s reputation to help someone with glasses. Even if they have been your friend for a few years now. Oh no, it doesn’t matter.

Oh, yeah, sure, I’m still friends with all of you. I still like you and everything. Sure I do.

But I really hate four to a table.

And I REALLY hate the lines.

OKAY so... this is my portfolio piece TWENTY! OOOHHHH. A personal vignette. Like? Dislike? Why? Why not? Changes? Other?

YES! IT WORKED.

disclaimer: I am not a stalker.

BUTTTTTTTTT the recording worked! So today I'm going to record the entire talent show (well most) and make it a CD and be HAPPYYYY and put it on my ipod and LISTEN TO IT. it was very cool how i just plugged my mp3 in the computer, opened the recording and it just appeared in itunes. Yay!!! Now i just need the lyrics, which Viktor is probably not going to give me because he doesn't believe that i want them... which is ridiculous because i asked like 5 times. and if he does it won't be before todays performance, but i guess that doesn't matter anymore because i will have them RECORDED!

mwahahahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa this better be legal.

Coulda, Woulda, SHOULDA, pal.

That's what I want to go back to.

This is what I wish I could've done.

And that's what would've happened.

If you hadn't moved on.

That is what would've happened.
But this is what actually did.

You seemed to have moved on.

Why haven't I?

AH.

I'm very scared. If I can't get a ride home from the talent show tomorrow I wont be able to go.

Not only will I not be able to go, but I will have to go to Emerson NY for my great grandmother's unveiling (where they like, take her out of the grave a year later.)

AHHH.

If I do that then I will be forced to make small talk with all my aunts and uncles and older cousins! NOOOO!!!!!

Please save me if you can. So far there is a good chance that I will go to the talent show (and back) because ellie thinks she is going to be able to. I WILL BE OPTIMISTIC.
yes.

no.

I'm depressed at the moment. Why? I don't really know.

I'm in a sad mood. One of those horrible horrible sad moods that you normally get from reading books; I haven't read a book recently.

Really.

Really.

I've all the songs in the show stuck in my head. I need those lyrics. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there is footprints on the moon.

Laugh your heart out? I don't think so.

Oh god I'm SAD. WHY. I hate this mood. There is no song for it. None at all. There is always a song. There is always a movie. There is always a book that makes it better.

Always.

Sigh.

shake.

tear.

sob.

I love how nobody comments anymore.

By the way, that's sarcasm. Just lettting you know.

Two Orders Of Business

Okay.

ONE:

You may notice that there are no more "reactions" little poll thing at the bottom of the page. You may hold yourself accountable, dearest viewers. Because what (I believed) happened was that you saw the reactions button and decided that if you could react without having to type anything you didn't need to comment. WRONG! Especially the people who said "I hated that." you arn't allowed to do that, people! If you don't like something, you need to tell me why or else you might end up just hearing it again. Give me feedback! Come on, people!

TWO:

Has anyone noticed that I changed my title? Does it matter to you at all? No one responded to it, except for my true blog readers. Do you like it? Not?

Act Three, Scene 1,2,3,4

Scene One:

Scene Two:

Scene Three:

Scene Four:

I'm sorry if this sounds like bragging but this whole thing was kinda a joke... watching the movie, making these things. I dunno. It seems weird to me. And it's actually really sad how no one in my group is trying to take an advantage of the advantage they have.... though I guess that's bragging too. But really, that play was my life. (NO, VIV, i know what you are planning on saying and it's NOT TRUE!) But really, I not only learned that play, I LOVED that play. Go back to my inside jokes post from a month ago. (actually two months ago.) I LOVED that play. (And Adri and Viv, I know what you are going to say to that too, and that is not why i loved it. nor is that even ONE of the reasons why i loved it.)

I guess it was just an excuse to spend hours on paint again...

WANTED- BOOK. BY THE TITLE OF 13 reasons why BY JAY ASHER

A book has recently been (re) discovered missing. It's owner came to a sudden realazation one night. "Hmm." she said to herself. " I have no idea who has it."

this is a case for the best minds! The book has been traveling the school via multiple 7th grade girls- girls so mysterious, so invisible to the owner herself- that the book is not lost- no not lost- just I'm the hands of one of these mysterious girls.

Who has it? Well, I actually don't know.

" I believe it was last seen with esther." the owner was found saying. "But who knows, really?" She was obviosly distraut when we asked her this. "I dont KNOW!" she claims. "And at the moment, I don't care to much. But there is only 17 more days of school left!" here she breaks into tears. "I wanna count the signatures!" she cries.

Really, does anyone know who has it?

Wow that was REALLY fun to write.
