HALLOWEENYYYY

I really feel like telling you the story of what happened last year on Halloween, but I'm actually not in the mood to type it all. So I'm going to do the simple, bulleted version! I'm totally mixing last year's Halloween with two years ago's- I can't really really tell the difference, and also mixing them together and taking some things out makes it the ideal Halloween. So this isn't what ACTUALLY happened, it's the best of the last two years.

  • It was Me, Anna, Elora, Wyatt, Hammy, and Garrett. (okay, so this is what actually happened (I think. maybe): last year: me, Elora, Anna, will, Garrett, hammy, Shannon? and two years ago: me, Elora, Anna, Wyatt, Hammy. Something like that. but this is what I keep thinking happened)
  • We went trick-or-treating in Eagleshead (by Elora's house)
  • Hammy got SO SO SO sick that he didn't even want to get anymore candy because he had eaten too much, and he sat on the edge of every driveway and waited for us to come back.
  • Wyatt flirted with these girls who spoke French. His face turned beet red and we were all like "come on, Wyatt, you know French too!" it was REALLY funny because they were like stereotypical European twins (i seriously DON'T know if this is all my imagination or not) and he was like talking to them (more like mumbling.) and he was a hockey player... I think. He had a mask. Or maybe it was a pumpkin head.
  • We got mucho candy. Don't you like how I'm becoming Spanish?
  • ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm yeah. Then we went back (this was last year, for sure) and had this really crappy after party thing. The rest was fun though!

So..... I'll leave it up to you to untangle that mess of real life last year, real life 6th grade, and what MIGHT have happened I don't remember anymore. Apparently all I know for sure is that it was SO. MUCH. FUN. I also know that I have a horrible, horrible, horrible memory. God. What was your Halloween like last year?

Sick.

I am in New Jersey. We started driving last night, at like 5:30 (that's why I wasn't at the dance, by the way.) When I got home on Friday I (of course) sat down to watch Project Runway right away, and I had this HORRIBLE headache that only got worse. I think it was from the completely invigorating school day I had. I absorbed so much knowledgeeeeee in like every single class.

Social Studies- You learn just being in her presence. We didn't even talk about what we were supposed to, we never got around to it, but that doesn't matter. She just... taught. Honestly, it's crazy how you learn without even knowing.

Earth Science- Okay, FINE, science is growing on me. I ADMIT it. It's interesting. Don't rub it in my face. Those maps are so cool! And on the drive down to NJ I can't even tell you how many times I referenced something I learned "Ooh, look the north star" "The sun is setting so now we're driving south" "It's the full moon either tonight or tomorrow, look at how insane it is" etc. It's invading my life. I agree, I will never be able to watch another sunset/sunrise without thinking 'OH MY GOD WHERE'S MY ASTRO JOURNAL." Seriously. So yeah, we learned a lot in that class too. Plus I just can't stop thinking about it.

Algebra- We had a test. And it was hard. Well, challenging. It took me the entire class period, no room to spare. And I was in the zone the entire time. TOTALLY CONCENTRATED I love that. It's such a good feeling like just numbers going through your brain over and over and answers popping out no distraction it's very cool. I think I want to be a math teacher. Or a teacher. That's how inspiring my teachers are this year. Seriously.

English- Maybe more productive than normal, in a totally un-productive kind of way. Silent reading period, which was cool, because I did my homework due Wednesday, which was to read up to chapter 7 I think. It's actually kind of funny, because the book we're reading in English totally matches up with what we're doing in SS. Integration, segregation, civil rights.

Tech- I spent the entire tech time helping Genell with her math homework, studying for the test. Further proof of my math teacher possibilities. I love it.

German- I totally ACED that test. So much that I can say "ace" which no one but ME would ever say. I use quotation marks in my written piece!! Oh yeah! Do you want to know what I said? Of course you do! I said: Ich kann leider nicht. TRANSLATION: Unfortunately I can't. I must do house work. My mom says: "You can't go with her to the movies, you have to do house work." I have to clean my ROOM, set the table AND sort the trash! Tomorrow can we go to the movies? I have 3 o'clock free, do you? Can you? Do you want to?

Gym- we had the pacer. Ugh. UGHHHHHH. I'm such an epic fail! Good thing I'm okay with that.

So all of that interesting knowledge/physical exercise I had to do today combined and turned into a horrible horrible headache, which transformed in the car ride to a headache/cold, and from there it did what every headache/cold does- this morning it became a fever. This is horribly disappointing, because I was supposed to get my boots today. You know, for Christmas? My cool boots I got last year? I was going to get another pair this year (it's my traditional present from my grandma) but I'm sick!! And if I'm not better tomorrow she's just gonna give me money and expect me to go to a boot store all by myself!!!!!W!E! !D!O!N!'!T! !E!V!E!N! !H!A!V!E! !A! !B!O!O!T! !S!T!O!R!E! !A!N!Y!W!H!E!R!E! !N!E!A!R !U!S! the closest one is in like Rochester? I don't know. tragic, is it not? Yeah?

HAHAHAHAHA. (still cracking myself up)

So now every classroom is required to have a poster saying "Every sentence ends with punctuation." Well, Mr. McGrath wasn't too happy about that. "I'm a MATH teacher," he says. "I shouldn't have to put up an ENGLISH poster in my room! Everyone else should have to put up a math poster in THEIR room too." (-not an exact quote.)

I thought that was a FANTASTIC IDEA. And so I, of course had to make one to print out and distribute among the teachers. PLEASE, if you are a teacher and are reading this, DON'T tell your fellow teacher friends that the girl going to everyone's homebase and saying "Yeah, it's a new state thing. Every classroom needs to have one," is lying. DO NOT TELL THEM. Thank you. Why would you anyway? Don't you want to see this in every classroom!?!?!?

To get it to picture format I used my epic computer SKILLS and saved the word
document as a PDF and then exported that as a JPEG. Yeah, I'm cool..

So yeah. Don't you LOVE IT!!! I LOVE IT!!! It was such an awesome idea!!! I hope it works. Please please please. And if it doesn't, I hope DeWitt's teachers are cool enough to put them up anyway.

Recently has been sewing machine obsessed

Have I told you that since it's now okay to be ready for Halloween, it's officially mandatory to get started on my christmas presents. Not just anyone's christmas presents- everyone elses is boring- but my SISTER's. American Girl Doll Clothes. God I need a camera so I could show you what Emma's Christmas Collection looks like so far. Well if youuuu insiiiist I'll describe it. One outfit is like a red/purple/brown/orange striped fabric peasant blouse (hate thT word but I don't have a choice here) and it's skirt is like half purple felt and half purple SPARKLY felt. Another one is a pink and white striped skirt and this navy jacket with this really cool/odd collar. To match this collar's totally ON PURPOSE assymitry I made this actually on purpose assymetric dress. It's really cool. It's this black and white and grey swirl fabric that used to be a curtain found at salvation army and this see through yellow that probably also used to be a curtain two years ago before I got it free from the EHF. I'm going to post a picture of it when I have my dads phone to use as its the only camera in the HOUSE. So you'll probably see it. Eventually. And the last outfit (so far) is a HARRY POTTER WIZARDS ROBE that's taking me a surprisingly long time to make look finished. In the meantime, I'm making a backpack for this Elizabeth/Witch (what would those Loyalists say!?!? Am I in the right time period...?) and also a book of magic with amazing and useful spells like "Alohomora," (whoa, magic!) "Reparo," and "Avada Kevadra." and of course a wand. Maybe a broom if I have time and the will power. In case you havent yet attempted and failed at it (as I have. I have experience failing.) brooms are hard. Seriously.

So yep. I just told you about my sisters Christmas present in great detail. I'm sire this has changed your life forever. Ps. Don't let her read it. I've been so unbelievably ninja she's only realized that I've been stealing her doll... And that I'm making her present... And probably most of what that present looks like... Yeah, I'm a good ninja.

Jezt Muss Du Schlafe! Du Kann Nicht Lesen Oder Musik Horen!

Trying to get your siblings to go to bed when your parents are out is a very complicated matter.

And believe it or not, speaking in a language neither of them understand DOESN'T HELP.

...

It took a lot of effort on my part to not expand on that sarcasm. Yes, be proud.

[Also, I realized that when German is present I should probably translate to my FRENCH or SPANISH friends (fail, by way) so here: "now you have to sleep! You can't read or listen to music!!" Comment if you want the translations to my fabulous soap opera, despite my warnings to it's horrible atrocity-ness.]

My Status on BOOKS

I'm running out of them SHOCK HORRIBLE OH NO.
Would you like proof? Here-

Yes. You see it. A Series of Unfortunate Events. They are fantastic books, and on my "Forever Loved" shelf of my books shelf- but... a little young... just a bit.

I'm running out of books. I'm tired of perfect stories, of sarcastic science fiction (GASP not really but anyone have any new) and don't know enough reasonably good fantasy. I need help. Not that Lemony Snicket is BAD- in fact he is hilarious (a word which here means "overly being definitive and repetitive in his writing, as well as overly foreshadowing and being generally gloomy and sarcastic (a GREAT combination, by the way)) but still. It's no where near as good the second time. And I hate to say it, but I'm reading them so fast this time (like a book every few hours) that the repetitiveness isn't funny anymore!!! I'm on the 6th now, and only have up to the 7th, and then pick up at the 12th. So I won't even be able to finish them. Sigh.

Jessie, I got Feeling Sorry For Celia and I'm maybe planning on reading it... probably. I don't know.

PLEASE help me I NEED a good book NOW please please please pleasepleasepleaseplease.

Ohmigod, thank you!

Blah... Hmm do I ever say anything worthwhile up here? Nah...

Hey, anybody seen Mr. McGrath's blog recently, as in, this morning? Anna and I like came in to school early (see how much we care) and made it bootyful!!! Sorry I can't do a link, stupid iPod, but you should check it put and OH MY GOD!! idea. EVERYONE SHOULD ALL POST A COMMENT SAYING LIKE "wow your blog looks AWESOME mr McGrath it must have taken you forever!!" even though it totally didn't... That would be seriously funny though. I was all mad today because like half the day went by and NO ONE noticed.... Weird. Ha. Ha. Ha. People totally go on his homework site diring every free moment... Right...

Hmm I don't even know what I'm being sarcastic anymore interesting.

Hear another BFS song! It's called something like "a really cool dance song" and has many fantabulous lyrics, including but not limited to: " this song sounds like a dance song, cuz dance songs are cool now, so come on and shake what your momma gave ya, this song sounds like a dance song, it's our attempt at a dance song it's gonna be a real bog hit! (I can't wait to hear the remix)"

This post is longer than I thought it would be.

When you assume, you make an....... Out of you and me. Came so close to swearing there!!!

Been thinking a lot about popularity. I think it's funny how you don't even see it, you think you're the only school without stereotypical mean ness. Well still I hardly see it. Not to me.

Had a very eye opening bus ride. Hates it when people be mean to others for "being mean."

Freaking hypocrites.

I also think it's funny how much people assume. They don't hate you. Honestly, they don't give a crap. I guess the problem is they don't give a crap whether you want them to or not.
Remember my "I Hate People" post? Yeah, it's even more vague than this (is that even POSSIBLE) but it says the same thing.

Remember my "I'm going to miss you, Elora Becraft" post/sentence? It's because reall
people are everywhere. And you choose not to see them as real. What do you see then, Barbies? Come on.

In the words of Rihanna, live your life.

In the words of Bowling For Soup, don't hate us cause we're happy.

No, that quote makes no sense here.

And don't hate... None of this is directed at anyone. Seriously. Even if it seems like it is. I'm not whipping you, I'm whipping the WORLD. Sorry inside joke.

198(FIVE)

New favorite band: BOWLING FOR SOUP

(lovelovelove)

They notice all the little things. I wish I could remember some individual lines. They are just so funnyyyyyyyyy. Oh my god. They walk the very fine line of hilarious and obscene, like Blink 182, except they are better at keeping on the funny side. I think I'm changing my "American Idiot" cd on my xmas list to A Hangover You Don't Deserve, or Sorry For the Partyin, or Drunk Enough To Dance, or Bowling For Soup Goes To the Movies, or The Great Burrito Extortion Case, or  something.

I especially like the song Little Red Riding Hood... hahahahahah. Look it up? Fine. Here. I love the lyrics. Of course, 1985 is another AWESOME song. And really, just listen tot heir pandora station it makes me laugh. Honestly. I don't know. They just notice the little things... now that you're gone, I don't wish you were dead anymore.I think rock and roll is really funny when it's serious... Don't hate us cuz we're happy! Love that song. In Girl All The Bad Guys Want: her CD players always filled with singers who are mad at their dads!

Okay well. Bowling for Soup just makes sense. No one on here likes it when I talk music, but I had to say something about my BFS obsession. Because they really are SO FUNNY.

Also, Pandora. Addicting. I swear, I've been listening to it for like 10 days straight. It's a very fantastic thing.

Ich kann Deutsch sprechen!

I keep thinking in german, and I couldnt stop. so i decided to write a german soap opera. it has absolutely no plot, and regrettably Ich weiss nicht how to say "coma" im Deutsch.  Okay... The first person is the guy, second the girl.

mochte du. mochtest du mir?

nein! Ich kann nicht. Ich geffalt er. du fur mich stimmt nicht.

aber...

gehst.

aber bitte!

nein. ich stimmt nicht. Kann du gehts? Fur mich? Bitte.

Weidersehen, dann.

Auf Weidersehen.

Isn't it so unbelievable scandalous? Ha. Ha. Ha. It sounds so awesome in german though. It absolutely sucks on English, I swear, I'm not translating. I just got bored. Es geffalst mir, geffalst er du? I like it, do you like it? It's actually crazy pathetic, hope none of you speak german!

EXCITED

Anna und ich are going to REDECORATE Mr. McGrath's blog. It will look TOTALLY AWESOME (AVPM) I promise you. Wow that's a lot of references.

Anyway, I was at Open House tonight... it was really really fun. I swear, I would be so perfect for that job if I knew my left from right without looking like an idiot.... hey dont make fun. It was actually really really awesome to actually be able to TELL OTHER PEOPLE the way around the school, because honestly, I am SO bad at directions and everything related to... I couldn't get you ANYWHERE I just learned how to get to the school last year and it's like 4 turns. I'm really really bad. I'm not kidding. It's a problem. Does anyone know how to make it better? Anyway again, um, yeah, it was great to know my way around more than others.

Watched project runway and glee... my weekend goal has been completed. Sleep tomorrow, to get rid of that HORRID cold/headache and then going to NJ for family stuff. Good night. See you one TUESDAY and then again on WEDNESDAY and then again on (yes, you guessed it) maybe even THURSDAY! Congrats if you a) Clicked on any of those links or b) WATCHED AVPM. (geek hi-five, sophie :)

COLD? HEADACHE? YES.

Ugh, I feel so sick right now....  I have a cold and a horrible horrible headache. I was telling Aaron, i think it's actually kinda sad how I can feel like crap and still go to school because the pull of Earth Science and Algebra is too strong. Missing those classes isn't worth it, work-wise. So I come and I suffer. I want to go to sleep so badly right now.

To many tissues.

(I'm so not good at) Comebacks

(Tigran on why I'm going to be president)

Possible Responses (none of which, obviously, I said):

b) No! You're speech was (insert Draco Malfoy hand signs here) Totally awesome.
c) Haha, yes.
d) You should make more friends then, shouldn't you?

I'm so slowwwwwww I thought of those like... a week after I should've........

I'm Actually Really Sad Right Now

As you all know, Project Runway is one of the (two) shows that I record to watch AS SOON AS I GET HOME Friday, and today I of course watched it. It was a really great episode, and there was a lot more emotion than there normally is. I cried like 3 times during it. It's really sad. But really good. And happy at some points. Mondo wins his third challenge in a ROW and Valerie is out... which is sad, I liked her. She's really nice. Gretchen is still in. Stupid Gretchen. Andy better get out of that family mode because he's still on even if he's not into it anymore. If you don't know what the heck I'm talking about, you should watch Project Runway and then you'll know why I love it so much.
