Another electronic!
Oh my god, a KINDLE. I love my Aunt Kimmy. Read the printed word, folks. I'll be on my kindle. No, no, don't worry, I'll still read. On PAPER too. But alsooo on a screen. Bahaha so now I officially have almost every single electronic other then a phone. Which is usually the first. But I'm cool like that.

By far the most common experimental finding is that silent reading from screen is significantly slower than reading from paper ( Kak,1981; Muter et al, 1982; Wright and Lickorish,1983; Gould and Grischkowsky, 1984; Smedshammar et al 1989). Figures vary according to means of calculation and experimental design but the evidence suggests a performance deficit of between 20% and 30% when reading from screen.

Aaron, I'm sure that's true. The screen is so..... tiny. But whatever. I read fast enough. And I'm not going to stop reading real books. Just I'll also read books that are lighter and all in the same place.
ReplyDeleteRight, LAPTOP. That's what I was missing! Almost every electronic except for a laptop and a phone. I still have next year. Hahaha. Lucky.
