Freeeeeee Prooogrammmmss

See that? SEE THAT? ArchiCAD 14, student version. It's like CAD, but Archi. I mean architecture. But I don't know how to make a wall a size I want; you're supposed to drag them to the right size and it's always off for me. I need like dimensioning but I don't know hoowwwww.

  3. heh. im there in the chat window with my status of "no." just like always.

and i'm not going to ask what your label "WHATS UP, SEXY" is for.

get your copy of inventor 2011. you may actually have to do 2010, because autodesk is picky about giving students NEW stuff. they're pretty much interchangeable in what you can do, just you can't open a 2011 file in 2010, so working on stuff at school then at home doesn't happen UNLESS you make sure to use 2010 at school (which i'm pretty sure they ALSO have installed).

seriously though, get your copy up and running, because assuming you're going to miss tuesday's skill-reinforcement-lesson (we give you a piece of fancy wood, you create a 2D iso-ortho drawing and 3D model using Inventor) i'll be all on your case for you to accomplish it over skype for me sometime in the following week.

  4. I tried to find it and I couldn't.... I mean, I couldn't find it free. I don't think I looked hard enough, but.... do you know where?

ps. I don't have a camera on my computer, anywhere, so no skype, but I could do it at school sometime this week?

  5. Haha you can actually see that I searched for "free student inventor professional autodesk."
What's up sexy... ahhh.... um..... ask sarah and ally. Have you heard the song "when i grow up?" Have you heard the Punk goes Pop version by mayday parade? It's the funniest line in any song ever. Just they way it's said...

  6. spend 10 minutes, go to youtube and type in "getting an inventor educational license"

wow, never knew that it was actually ME that created that video. oh yeah, it's kind of obvious.

it's about a year old but still relevant. basically, you register through the autodesk student program with your school email (olivia.salomon at icsd.k12.ny.us) and since icsd is registered with them they know you're a student, and give you free licenses to like, all of their crap.
